So, how much do you want for that trunk mat?

my next step is to start contacting some of the "classic car" junk yards that i see advertising in hemmings and other places. i've been watching old barracudas being sold on ebay for years now and i suspect that some of these cars that are pictured in junk yards and fields may have old trunk mats in them. i'm going to up the anty here. i will pay $300.00 to the first person who contacts me with an old "correct" 68 barracuda fastback trunk mat. now here's the conditions for the $300.00 mat: the trunk mat has to be 100% complete - no torn "half mats" or "almost complete" mats; no giant holes in the mat larger than about the size of a quarter; grease or rust stains are ok; tears or cuts in the mat are ok so long as the tear or cut goes together when the mat lays flat allowing the mat to look all there. i know there is a FABO person out there that are willing to part with their OEM trunk mat so they can take my money and buy some other part for their car. should i get more than one mat offered, i get to decide which mat i want, but i will post pics of the mats here on FABO. this offer is open for 30 days from the date of this post.
hope my mat is out there somewhere in FABO land....
