Link to article in the Newark, Ohio paper where they tell that they realize that
the troublemakers are mostly locals and area people that have no connection
to the Mopar Nationals.
They are well aware of the impact the Nat's has on the local economy and are
afraid that they could loose it to another venue.
It was pointed out to them why we left Indy and I, for one, would
never go back.
I see they mentioned a "parade". This idea would NEVER fly. That's what they had
the last time I went to Brice Road - crawling gridlock. We want to cruise!
I suggest that whatever street they choose to close down that they then admit
only
cars with current Nat's entry identification displayed and you will finally get the best
musclecars to come out.
Those that do attend, please exercise some restraint and show the town that we have
some brains! It can only benefit us in the future.
