Am I missing something??

1) Might have bought it from Barret Jackson. There is a '67 Coronet R/T here in BC. The guy bought it for $75,000 then once it got here tried to recoup his money. It's currently down to $45,000 on a dealership lot.

2) Maybe he just finished the restoration and is hoping to recoup some of his money.

3) Maybe he accidentally looked at the Canadian Craigslist/Kijiji.

There was a '67 Dart GT that was just restored for sale awhile ago. It sold for $40,000.

Here's a '70 for $32,000:

'69 GTS Convertible for $41,000:

They don't sell fast but up here they generally do sell. Most of the "highest priced" Darts are in the Sub $30,000 down to $25,000 range.
