1970 Duster 340 4 Speed Car back out of Storage.

In 1970 My father purchased a 1970 Duster 340 4 Speed. He tinkered with it and raced it stock until 1989. He gave it to me in 1991. In high school I took auto body and did a cheap body work and paint job. I had a 1970 Dart Swinger that I had a 360 built for and decided to put it in the Duster in 1992. I still have the original 340 and 4 speed. Car has a 727 in it now with 4.30s. I am going to race it a bit until the 360 gets tired. It has about 300 passes on it and has gone consistent 8.20`s in the 1/8. Here is an album after I got it out of storage last week.

Welcome to the site. It is very cool that you have your Dads "original owner" Duster.
 
My thread is back alive! I will post pics soon. I still have the car and
after being in Texas since 83 it will be moved to my new place in Virginia this year!
 
Photo bucket is unlocked now and I added a sub folder if you scroll to bottom of photos.

Car is being moved to my place in Virginia after sitting for 15 years. Transmission just started having problems. Time for a rebuild or 904. The 360 in it is still strong and starts up with no problem. I plan lots of work on it when it arrives in Virginia.
