radio ideas

If your original factory radio is in perfect working condition and you want the stock look I would just stay with it. If the car is being modified and a stock appearance isn't critical, there are plenty of aftermarket radios that would be an upgrade. If you are concerned about cutting up the original radio plastic bezel I would suggest searching for an extra one off of here or on eBay.

For our '70 Roadrunner we didn't want to lose the factory radio (even though it didn't work) and we didn't want to butcher the factory bezel. So we bought a radio delete plate that we cut to fit the new radio that we installed. We saved the original pieces and stored them away. My son chose a JVC single din that has a cool wallpaper feature. It sounds great and I doubt he'll ever want to re-install the factory radio.
