moving to Colorado

I would say figure out what you want to do and decide where to live based on that. I live in sterling colorado. It's a small town, very small, but I work at sterling correctional facility. Out in my neck of the woods, you either work at the prison, on the railroad, or on the oil rigs. Colorado department of corrections is always hiring, and they pay pretty well. The only requirements I know of are clean background, clean drug test, 21 years old. They start at around $3,300 a month. Out here, that's pretty good money. I am trying to get out on the oil rigs though, they work a lot harder but pay a lot better. Like I said though, figure out what career field is for you then decide where to settle down. Like others have said many areas of Colorado are very expensive to live in, but there are cheap towns like mine.
