1965 barracuda burning a little oil. Has just over 200 miles on it. Spark plugs look like they have alittle carbon build up, maybe a little oil build up. Is the oil burning the rings just trying to seat? Also have a carb on it that was rebuilt and set up for a 460 big block race boat. I'm thinking it's just running ritch. I've had white smoke since I first fired it

It is white or very light blue? White is steam from water vapor in the exhaust, which is normal under the right circumstances. If it's a lot of steam, it could be a leaking head gasket, cracked head or block. Probably not the case with t new build. Grey or black smoke indicates a rich mixture. If it is light blue with only 200 miles on it, drive it. The rings will not seat until sometimes a few thousand miles.

Blue smoke is oil.

White smoke is coolant/water.

Black smoke is too rich.

Another bit of info, pulled spark plug and there is about a 10th of an inch of oil in one if the valve reliefs on cylinder #4
