I know this is a longshot, but I sold my Duster (like an idiot!) about 10 years ago in Orange County, CA. I used to see the car around, but have not in years. Thought i would check and see if anyone on here had seen her. It was an original 340 car, I sold it with the #s matching block included in the sale.

To each his own, I loved the color. I did hear it referred to as puke green a few times.

Hi, Nick449. Welcome to FABO from another member here in OC.
Good luck on your search for your Duster. I stupidly sold my '69 340 Swinger years ago so I know what you mean. Now I'm several years into my current '69 Dart build project.

Probably a different color now,

there's no way I could live with that green

Me too. That volor is kind of "loud".

I didn't see it, though if it would have come by my neighborhood I might have "heard" it. Lol......

The color isn't all that bad. There is a reason we paint cars different colors ya know!
The world would be a dull place if we all did the same thing :tongue10:
Can't say as I've seen it, but I may have too. I've seen a lot Dusters wearing that shade of green. I'm in Ohio, so chance's are slim. But my Duster is a California car, anything can happen.
Haunt the for sale ads and find you a new one or, who knows your old one may turn up.

Yes... I'm sorry you're right.

your looking for a needle in a hay stack unless you still know the vin number .....locally I have seen at least 3 dusters in that same green and there will be even another one once I get mine in the paint shop.

Very popular color for a very popular car so needle in a hay stack

good luck with your search.

Yeah. I've seen it.

In post #1.

I like the color. Think it would look better with a black side stripe or hood to brake up the green though.

There is a girl that has one very similar in the AV it has twister scoops etc now and centerlines. i will have to see it the plate # is the same

It could be it. I sold it to a kid in Mission Viejo and people saw it around for a while, maybe she picked it up and added some scoops. I work in AV, I am surprised I have not seen it around.Would be cool if it still was local.

For everyone else, yeah, the color is a little redic. If i were to reacquire it i would at least paint the hood matte black and add the side stripes. I just have a Nova now and the bow tie really isn't doing it for me. I would love to sell it and get my MOPAR back!

It was over there a while ago --->

But it's gone now....

Don't remember seeing it at a Spring or Fall Fling.

Is it an original FJ5 lime light or FJ6 sassy grass green car?

No, the paint color was not original. If I recall correctly is was blue originally....maybe....

.......and we've been looking for this one since we sold it to a guy in Arkansas in 1977!
