relocation + mini tub handling question

70 duster being built for road course. Hotchkiss tvs kit. Mini tubbed my car thinking wider tires would help handling more then the stock spring location but heard it makes it handle worse. Give me your opinions for those of you who have done it

I would like to know as well from someone that has a set up they use.

But from what I have read as long as you have a big enough sway bar and a good set of springs it should be fine.
