cut off the springs pads, sit it on the springs and new pads, center it, install u-bolts and semi-tighten, sit hotrod on all fours on the floor, set pinion angle at 5-7 degrees to driveshaft, tack weld, jack hotrod back up on stands and remove rear, finish welding, put back in hotrod, buy wheels with the correct back spacing.
