Also your e brake cable will fit, but you need to back off the adjuster under the front seat to allow a bit more slack in the cable to compensate for the larger brakes. I was puzzled when I tried to put mine back together and one side hooked up but the other side was a couple inches short. I just loosened the adjuster and hooked it up, and re-adjusted it, perfect.


What I did, when moving the perches, I took a straight edge and placed it against the end of the perch and scored a line a little further in, and lined the perch up with it and welded it back on. My pinion angle seems perfect too, no vibration.

When welding take your time, don't concentrate the heat in one area too long, it can distort the tube.

You can pull the springs out and it will work, I would not do that personally because it adds side stress on the spring eyes and the bushings and bolts.
