need help......its time

my driveshaft should be back tomorrow. as I posted in previous posts about the pitch on the driveline, you guys said you would help me on this as I don't know much nor understand about pitch. I had the problem with the tranny mount being in wrong, the driveshaft was too short because the shop told me to measure from back of seal to yoke on rearend. what the problem was there was I measured from the back of the big rubber seal. now that the tranny was rebuilt and they put in the other kind of seal, I was about 1 1/2 " too short. anyway, I bought this guage and I want to make sure where to put it to measure the correct angle. last time I put it under the tail shaft on the tranny and under the nose on the rearend. what I would like to do here is have someone tell me if that is the correct place to set the guage and let me give you the numbers and then tell me how much I need to shim the rearend, front or back to get it at the right angle. I have 3 sets of shims I bought last time I played with this but apparently I didn't get it right. here is the guage. can someone post a pic as to where exactly to place it to get the right measurement. Thanks
