need help......its time

Terry, that looks like a great article but it is greek to this old man. I tried to read and understand one of those articles the last time I played with this and was really confused. so like I said earlier. I was thinking that if I could make sure I had the guage in the right place, I could read the guage and have someone tell me whether I need to shim the rearend nose up or nose down and how much to get the right angle. I get confused with the technical terms in the articles. in the pic of the article you talk about it showed the guage on the driveshaft, not the tailshaft. I think someone before told me that I could put the guage on the driveshaft right behind the u joint and in front of the u joint on the rearend. don't know if that is right or not.
