1973 Duster
Plum crazy purple (or in violet whatever you wanna call it). From a small spot in the trunk, it looks like it was originally puke green. The original 318 was replaced with a 440 by the previous owner. The bumpers were spray painted silver, and not done too well I might add. I stripped off a corner and saw the chrome underneath so went ahead and did the entire front bumper. It'll need rechromed, but I think it still looks better than the dull spray paint. My buddy suggested the place he got his done at, for $350 (with exchange) it's way more reasonable than other shops I've found.
At the moment, I'm trying to get the instruments to light up. The speedo is way off and the tach doesn't work. Too many wires leading to nowhere and too much electrical tape for my taste. All minor issues really. I've driven it out the past week with the 90 degrees days we've had and it hasn't overheated. I would've driven it all day, except 5mpg doesn't go very far
