Check out the price of the Herbert "Chry roller cam kit" @ $155 in 1966 is about $1,130 today. Herbert cam and lifters, $257. Minimum wage was $1.25, gallon of gas was 0.30. Wow, 4 gallons of gas for an hour of minimum wage work..BRING IT! 1985 was close, 3.35/hr and a gallon was ~ $0.89. Good times too.
