Will the Steering Column Upper Collars Swap??????

Hi Guys,
Can I use the column collars from a floor shift 1983 dodge ram on my 1973 steering column to convert it to a floor shift column?
The lever to remove the key doesn't need to work its useless anyway
Any help would be appreciated

Yes, as long as the 83 isn't a tilt column.
