Hi fellas,

Im getting married in less than 2 months and Im having a hard time figuring out what to buy my 2 groomsmen.

I dont want the typical engraved flask or any of that junk that no one is ever going to use. God knows I didnt use the 2 I have from the weddings I was in. I would like to get them something each can use or enjoy. I looked at doing one of those BBQ sauce of the month or similar but holy crap $300/year which in turn equals $12 per bottle of sauce. No flipping way! I was looking at keeping it under $100 each for them.

So Im looking for suggestions on what some of you may have done or received as gifts.

I gave my groomsmen good pocketknives and nice flashlights...Benchmade 556S (Mini Griptilian with a combiEdge) and SolarForce L2P-based lights with good drop-ins and extra batteries. The lights are SureFire knock-offs, but they work well. Came out under $200 for each groomsman and they loved the gifts.

I did the same thing. I got the pocket knives geared towards their lifestyle along with their initials engraved on the blade somewhere.

This goes back more years than I care to remember, but the best groomsmen gift I ever received from the several weddings I've been part of was a very nice "men's shaving kit travel bag" with my initials embroidered on it. I continue to use it whenever I travel now.
You can find some very nice leather bags on Amazon.com for $40-$60. The embroidery shouldn't be much.
Your groomsmen will remember you and your bride whenever they travel.

I bought my groomsmen belt buckles with their initials on them. A couple guys still wear them quite often.

I did the pocket knife thing for my groomsmen more years ago than I care to mention. I noticed a few weeks ago that when my buddy needed to cut a piece of rope that the old groomsman gift was what did the job.

If I were a groomsman, I would want a classic car, or a pocket knife

You know what they like to do in their spare time. Buy them something that they will use during that time. If they like to deer hunt, maybe a ladder stand. Something like that for whatever they like to do.

I gave them nice watches. They think of me every time they look for the time (when they are wearing them). There are a lot of nice watches between $100 and $200.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. This helps and gives me a few options to look into... I do like Ben Drinkin's idea... Except I will give them pics of my ex wife... hahahaha.
