American shakedown: Police won't charge you, but they'll grab your money
That is theft...pure and simple...no recourse ?
They do that around here up on Interstate 40 and yes, it is pure theft in my oppinion also.
They have an amount in thier heads that if you are carrying more than that they will ASSUME it is for or from drugs and confiscate it.
A total trashing of your right to be assumed innocent until proven guilty, and completely illegal. (but in the name of the drug wars they do it anyway)
It's the same with them being able to just accuse you of being a terrorist and removing your legal and personal rights as an American citizen.
I am SOOOO looking forward to the day when the **** finally hits the fan and the people tell our Government to "Piss off" over these kinds of things.
Probably won't happen in my lifetime though, as it will have to get pretty bad before the sheeple finally take notice and stand up to them.
We have a bad habit of not caring unless it happens to us personally.
I'll even go you one farther.
Did you know that if you pole any amount of American citizens you will get about 40% that say they are Athiest's, but only ONE US senator or House member say's he is.
Does this mean 99% of our Gov is Christian?
HELL NO, it means 40% of our elected officials are willing to lie before they ever get into office.
