'70 Duster...not mine, need feedback

Previous posts are spot on...except for the ugliest car ever made...come'on...the Duster Rocks!!! I just got my 71 340 Duster back on the road and Haggerty listed 8K as a driver, 12K good and 17K excellent condition. Hard to say without looking at the car, and determining if a cheap paint job is covering up a nightmare...the black bumpers make me suspect too...but if you and someone else does go check it out pay particular attention to items mentioned in the previous posts. In addition, check there's no electrical gremlins by checking all the switches, lights, motors (heater box, windshield wipers). Check the gauges while moving the light switch, etc. (can be ground/electrical issues) I like checking right before dusk as my eyes miss things in the bright sunlight. I can then drive it during daylight still, then talk to the owner and check out the interior lighting while it's getting dark.
Also check the trunk for rust. Good luck. If it all checks out good and run wells it's worth the money.
