What is the difference between a eddy 1405 and a 1406

Yeah the jetting is a few stages richer on the 1405. Why is that if they are both 600cfm carbs ? Iv'e been thinking about getting a holley. LOL

I think the 1406 is geared more toward a replacement carb for smaller displacement drivers, especially since most of those applications/customers don't want to fool with a manual choke.
