So just to wrap up yesterday's work:
- everything that should be red got the needed base coat and is curing before clearcoating. That's both steering column collars and the outer sleeve plus the mount for the park brake mechanism.
- the firewall plates, speaker mounting plate, sleeve for the park brake, and the brake pedal are all finished in black.
- did NOT finish the gear select shaft due to my paint of choice not being available locally.
