Who sells Mopar A body low tension hood hinge springs? i am looking at a bolt on hood.

If its the coiled up spring just go th a salvage yard
and get a pair from a '87-'90 Chrysler G or J body front wheel drive
car. They should be cheap. $$$

Daytona or LeBaron will work

They work great on my '67 'Cuda with the fiberglass hood.

I also ordered mine from Dennis and am glad I did! He was great to work with and the springs worked great on my Stinger Fiberglass/AAR hood. Dennis provides installation information and is very helpful if you have any additional questions.

The hardest part of the installation was trying to get the orginial springs off without completely bashing your hands once the tension is released. (My thumb was a nice shade of dark purple for a week.)

Mine will go to my buddy at the machine shop. lol he has the right stuff to do this. if not he will make a jig.

Good plan Fischer. I learned the right way to do it after the damage was done. Good luck with your hood! Hope it turns out like you want.
