My El Camino's both ran loose versions ,of the 396/375 engines. 340/360 well tuned Cudas/Darts gave me more fits,than any other car I raced.
 
The 340 Dart is probably one of the most underestimated muscle cars. Its been 2 months since I've driven mine due to all the rain here in S.FLA, I need to scratch my itch!
 
Some of the comments are funny. It's not about the power you have, it's about getting it to the ground.

The camaro goes 106 and only .1 faster. Dart just ran equal in the the front half until the camaro got to legging it out.
 
Looks to me that if the dart driver could cut a better light it would have been much closer.
 
'Member the Chevy / Chevelle "Heavy Chevy" ? I REALLY ticked a guy off one time when I innocently asked him if it meant "lead sled."
 
Nice run for both cars in my opinion. Looks like a "pure stock" meet of some kind.
