Always liked my dad's old cars growing up and really wish he had kept them but that was before the prices went nuts.

IIRC one I really wanted a white 69 barracuda in pretty fair shape he sold for $2000. Can't find many deals like that anymore.

Anyways on to my purchase that I'll be picking up next week.

Looking forward to driving it home hopefully without incident the 250ish mile return trip and begin cleaning it up.

Thanks

I couldn't read the expiration on the tag to see if this car has been driven regular recently.
Take a few tools with you in case you need to clean out the fuel filter or something
along the way.
68s and 69s are my favorite darts. Looks cleaner than most of the cars I start with.
Have fun. Glad you got a A-body Mopar. Welcome aboard from Indiana.

Thanks!

I think the tag expires in 2015 from and seller claims he took it on a 100 mile drive "recently".

I look forward to cleaning it up and seeing what there is to work with. At least with my former cars being ex police cars I'm used to having to tear everything apart to get it clean!

It looks very good for a Indiana car that age. Glad to hear they kept it
moving, that helps a lot. You will like driving a dart.

I remember thinking it was a big deal when I bought the first car that was younger than me :)

I like it - for that money kind of money I'd love to have one like that for a daily driver.

Welcome!

What do you think this car is worth as is?

Got my first few mods picked out.

1. Electronic Ignition assuming it doesn't have it already.
2. Tuneup (Cap, Rotor, wires, plugs etc)
3. Oil, Coolant, Trans fluid, etc changed.
4. Disc Brakes up front when I have the $$$.

Suggestions?

As for wacky mods I find this very tempting!
