Anyone who's shopped for a replacement 4 x 10" has seen this common plate design where, beyond the 4 corner screws, you also have a pair of mount points off the far ends...and you've probably wondered if these end holes would line up with the factory mount points.
Well, they do not.
You'll definitely need a mounting plate whether you find one or make your own.
