Frisch's Big Boy then and now

Where I grew up in Maryland, they were called Bob's Big Boy. I believe there were also Shoney's Big Boy restaurant's in other parts of the country. The food was awesome, especially the hot fudge ice cream cake for dessert. You would think they would have enough repeat customers to keep the place in business.

Glen, the wife worked at the New Carrollton store from 1980 to 1985, and then a few years in White Oak I believe, a short stay in Olney, and then managing the Frederick store before transferring to a Ally's when we moved to Florida. It was a chain Marriot started named after his daughter, but didn't really fly after a few years.
