Rick, I replaced my 69 Barracuda rear with a larger one. I live in South Texas. The 7 1/4 rear I removed only had 56K original miles on it and it ran silently before removal. You can have it for $75 if you pick it up. I had gone through the brakes when I got the car (just as a precaution). It's been sitting for about 8 months now (but well protected).
