A friend of my family gave me a heads up and put in a good word for me. Goin in tomorrow for an internship interview with the elevator workers union. Took my apptitude test and scored a 96%. With my recommendations I think I have s very very good shot at it. This internship would put me on track to a career and double my income! Needless to say I'm excited.
 
would you also be in charge of the music on the elevator?

well the interview went VERY well. I have to go sign up at the union hall and get my name on the list. soon as my name is on the list i was told to expect a call. We havn't talked money but the person that referred me said that apprentices start at about 23-25 an hour. overtime is paid double time and that i would get as many hours as i wanted. Im really excited and hope that this goes according to plan. they have a fantastic benefit package. 401k, pension,excellent medical etc. This could very well be my last job.
 
Glad to hear. I've been at my new job for 9 months and love it. Working for the state is great. Good benefits and low pressure. Wish I started earlier.
