Another 69 383S this one in B7/B5

I was mesmerized by the pics of of your restoration. When I built my 69 fastback, i lowered the 340 in from the top. I could not tell from your pics, but how did you get the front of the car angled up so high to get the K-member and 383 in from the bottom? I had thought that it could only be done with a garage lift.

You would be suprised how a little leverage works!!

Inside my standard garage was not an issue with these brackets my 16 year old nephew welded up that bolt to the US Cartool dollies. He had never mig welded before and I believe he is a natural. Did not think for a minute his welding would fail. Standard tractor supply engine crane.
My wooden dolly I built for re-assembly was darn near perfect. Just had to put a bottle jack under the back to raise it a 1/2" to slip the crossmember bolts in.
