Hey FABO people came across this 1968 Barracuda on ebay and had to pass it on. buy it now price of $15,000.00 and its really nice, great entry level car at good price for whats been done to it already.

This is a good place to ask a hypothetical title question and hopefully not start crap with it.
From what I read, that title is probably not in the current owner’s name.
But it is nice documentation to the car.
On that assumption if someone was to buy the car would you attempt to transfer the title to your name?
In which case you would no longer have the original title.
At least that’s the way it works in Georgia. You give up the title you have and pay money to transfer it if you want to do that ………..Another down side.
I don’t think there is a right answer to this one.
But I have a similar situation. I have an old “historical” title to a car. (not original) .
To me it’s more important to have this title than pay to transfer it.,
Besides that, it was signed over to a previous owner in the chain of owners. (only three)
I’ve got notarized bills of sale some I’m not worried .
Just curious what someone else would prefer if they bought a car with a 30 year old title to it.
