Well boys and girls, we another one HOT off the dyno. Really, its still HOT as I type. This one is a bit of a stone soup type build. Its made up of some lightly used parts, and NOS things we found. These are the things you have to do to meet budgets LOL

So anyhow, here is the run down

360 block
Forged crank/rods/pistons
HP bearings
Eddy RPM head, ported in house, Stage 3
Old school Weiand Xcell intake NOS
Used crane roller rockers
Voodoo solid flat tappet cam 252/259
10.5 to 1
QF 950 carb, used
FBO ignition system
Kevko 5qt pan
Pump gas

Now for the good stuff. It idle well at 950rpm and pulled 10in vacuum with the vacuum advance hooked up. It liked 35* total timing all in at 3800. AF ratio was 13-12.7 to 1 the entire pull. BSFC was in the high 300's to low 400's. Plugs were clean, engine ran crisp and smooth.

Peaks
543HP at 6100
525TQ at 4600

Pulls were made from 3000-6500 TQ was already over 450 at 3000 and held that and more all the way to 6300. It also made 500+TQ from 4100-5600rpm!

HP was just as smooth and broad. Making 500+ from 5000rpm on up. It was still making 530+HP at 6500.

Im super happy with this combo. Don't ask about price as this was a special engine with a mixed bag of new, old and used parts. But you can not argue with the results. Customer will be happy, he asked for 525!

another proven combo, as usual if mrl does it, then it makes the power, good job mike

Nice work Mike.....Again :D

Man, when I was a kid, I never thought I'd see this kind of power from a mild small block? You guys realize that this engine makes early 70's small block "Pro Stock" power!!! And at 2000rpm's lower....... Mind boggling...

Nice combination,Mike. Surprised by the Weiand intake, kind of cool. Witch model , and any plenum /port work ?

Its a nice package, wish it was mine lol

X-CELerator pn 7545 They don't make it anymore. I did a deep gasket match, and a few other small things, but nothing major.

Mike gave me another boner. Wait! That didn't come out right!! LOL!

Great job! You sure know what your doing with these motors.
