The trick here, IMO, & I've done it on another car, is to purposely put a few things in the car that only the most knowledgeable people would know to be incorrect. This would give the outward appearence of a correct car but under close scrutiny, as in an appraisal, could only be distinguished as a copy. The car I did got sold by its 3rd (I think) owner as an "original" &
supposedly went to Switzerland. I lost track of it after that so I know there's at least one fake out there claiming to be an original.........

But it would be very interesting to know the price the Swiss guy had to pay for the car.
Are we talking $80-90k or more, well than there is a problem, with an original part or two, on a clone.
Do you know the approximate price of the car hemicop??
