moving to Colorado

Colorado sucks unless you are independently wealthy or need to smoke weed

ive been here since 1976 because its a trap. the wages are just as bad as any where else. it does have some great places to see. if you are looking for work , be prepared to take a crap job or wait in line, hopefully you have employment already lined up or are in the service, they get first dibs on everything

what do u mean trapped?? i'm a native, and have lived in cally and texas as well, never felt "trapped" here.

never had a problem finding a job either. maybe u should move......but u can't because your trapped? hmmm.....

Like stated before Colorado is pretty diverse and a pretty large state, 8th largest. We have 3 climates, Eastern Plains, Mountains and the West Slope. Mountains get over 10' of snow. Denver has some of the most extreme weather in the country. Jan 1st could 60* or 20 below. More moderate here on the West Slope. I lived in Denver for 8 years and as far as big cities goes its one of the better ones. I spend enough time in a lot of the cities across the country and like the country life much better.
As far as jobs it just depends on what you do. I made a good living as an electrician for 25 years here.
If your the outdoors type you can't pick a better state.
We have our issues like any state.
I've lived all of my 54 years here and travel all over the country. I always love coming home and will probably die here.
I don't know why some say its a trap. If you don't like it here then move. Most people I know here love living here. You could in Jersey. I know a lot of people in Jersey. Good people but I don't think any of then like living there. I know I wouldn't.

well said...........
