Here is a picture of my floor, can someone tell me where the end with the bolt goes to tighten the strap up? Or a picture of one would be great too. I know one end goes through the triangle section on the floor but not sure about the other end. Thanks.

The end of the strap without the J bolt goes forward into the triangle section. The J bolt goes into the slots under the spare tire well.
BTW - The underside of your car looks great!

There is a part that welds inside the spare well and drops ears through holes in the well. Inside the well it holds the spare wheel anchor. Underneath the well it supports the fuel tank. Shinny black pic doesn't clearly show this part in place. Aftermarket wells don't include it ? I don't know.
By the way, If your car is a pre 68, the correct tank has a single strap routed left to right so the hangers under the well aren't required.

My '69 is on brackets attached to the spare well............

The car is a '74 and yes it is an aftermarket pan, would the anchors look the same as Daves69 anchors? The car came "in a box" disassembled to me and Im not very familiar with these mopars...yet.

One more question on the tank, is there something that goes between the tank and floor to prevent it from rubbing? Seems like there should be something ??

Yes, there is. Original was kind of like tar paper, the re-pop ones are foam rubber. Not sure who sells them, but they are available.

I used EPDM roofing rubber. The stuff i had was thin .030, so i cemented a couple layers together.
