Fiberglass hood scoop question

I saw those tabs on there website. They do look flimsy! Do you recall how many tabs where installed in there scoop? Not a bad idea to strengthen it up like you did. Did it seem like good quality and thick glass? How much finish work did you have to do to it?

Not afraid of the prep work but just want a decent scoop that isn't going to crack and fail after a year or so. Thanks for your input.
It looks to be of good quality and not full of pinholes, but it is thin. And there is no flange where it mates to the hood , just has the L brackets. There were no brackets at the center of the front which is just as well since I had to contour the center to fit the raised section of my duster hood. Then I built up a thick flange at the front with fiberglass for some studs. I see they have gone up in price quite a bit. When I bought mine about 3 years ago, I paid 115, I think. I would rather have had one with a factory style mounting flange, but for the price I couldn't pass it up. Whether it holds up long term remains to be seen . I currently have the car blown apart to do the body work.
