Post Your 67-69 Valiant

I just found this one on WI CL.http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/cto/4730312751.html

Never been on track. This is not a street car and does not have a title, I had to put something in the Craigslist box...so I put "parts only" because there was not a no title option.
Was certified by NHRA inspector after chassis upgrade. Some rust from sitting. I have over $5,000 in chassis improvements such as Qa1 adjustable shocks, custom installed wheelie bars etc. not counting over 20k that was invested in the car itself. The fiberglass hood can work but needs re-aligned. I bought fenders, grille, etc. -hood to make a pro-mod style front section, I would sell to buyer of the car for a reasonable price if you want them and they are still available.
The car includes everything in photos, custom fiberglass trunk lid, Dana Rear, wheels& tires etc. This car has a ladder bar setup.
I have this car priced to sell and I will gladly roll it out for any potential buyer. I can answer a few questions from what I know off hand, or I can look up some specifics. I will gladly give location and sale information should you decide to commit to an agreed time to look at the car.
The sheet metal, windows (no rear glass) and body are good to fair for a do it yourself racer, but the chassis was professionally done. It still needs some fasteners torqued here and there, so a good pre-track inspection is necessary. The fuel system needs installed and the electrical system still needs wired in.
This car did not have a spec of rust on it 3 years ago, but since it has been out of climate control and in a barn for a couple years rust has surfaced. Other than that it has ALWAYS been stored inside a building unless being transported. The welds were not painted where the funny car style cage was put in, that is where this project stopped. I also was going to open up the wheel wells a bit further at the outer rear fenders before paint. The car is in primer and has surface rust on the drivers door from road salt while being transported on an open trailer and there are some scuffs on the windshield. Between the photos and my description this is full disclosure, what you see in the photos is exactly what you will see when you get here. $4800 firm.
