You should post that old picture of your grand daughter sleeping with your doberman/rottweiler. I loved that picture, it reminded me of when I was young and slept with our Dalmatian in my bed with her body under the covers, head on the pillow next to me, and my arm around her. She was pick of the litter from the Hawaiian Crown Jewel Dalmatians born July 9, 1965. Mom gave her to dad for a birthday present when he was in the Navy in Pear Harbor. Notice the diamond shaped spots around both of her eyes. Dad said that "diamonds were a girl's best friend..."
Here's a picture of our other Dalmatian that slept at my feet also while the other was on my pillow. She was a jumper and could climb over an 8 foot chain link fence (when she wanted to)....
