No Hijack at all. Those are great pics BTW !

I planned on using the low back version like the one in your pic.

Aftermarket Jeep seats are wwwaaaayyy cheaper than trying to chase down A100 seats and have them redone.

Thanks.

I've had the A100 seats for a long time, since the 90s. They are actually NOS if you can believe that. The guy I bought them from had several sets but I only took one pair. Not to swift on my part because I think I gave him $140. He threw in a NOS steering box too. They had the adjustable seat base risers for the vans which were in perfect condition. I tried to utilize the sliders with the Jeep seats but I abandoned the idea, it wasn't worth the effort.

I got the Jeep seats from where I used to work - I was a tech at a Jeep dealership. The owner had all sorts of ancient, decrepit vehicles around including the Scrambler. He installed some new seats in it and just set the old ones behind our lunch table. I saw them and asked what he was doing with them and he said take 'em. I did a double take when I first saw them, I thought they looked just like the A100 seats. He thought I was nuts, I think he thought they were junk. Not sure why he didn't toss 'em in the dumpster. Lucky for me I guess.

Got the seat covers off Ebay. The OE seat covers were a breathable material so if they got wet they would dry out quickly. The foam on them is not very dense, probably so they didn't absorb moisture and hold it in like a sponge. Probably why they are so light.

I had a lot of experience with Jeep seat covers actually. We had an ongoing recall for the late 90's early 00's Grand Cherokees with heated seats. The elements would burn up and literally burn people's asses. We had to take the seats out and take the covers off to replace the elements. I was OK at it, I could do 'em in like 45 minutes if I hustled, I think we would get an hour for it? PITA with the hog rings and such.

Good luck with your seats, post pics when you get them installed.
