Hello
This is my first A body Mopar, been stuck in the Ford lane most of the time.
I'm very excited to get started on my 68 vert.
It's a factory 6v car but a big block K member has been put in car.
It came with a 68 383 4 speed. Rebuilt but not assembled.
Long story ... But i have a new 1970 440 I'm going to drop into it. Not sure if I'm going auto or 4 speed yet. I have both ready to go.
I'm sure I'm going to have plenty of questions if y'all don't mind answering newbie questions.

That's 68 invert ha ha. Welcome and I like your car, should be able to get the wind blowing through with the top down by the sounds of your engine plans!

That's clever and funny ... Lol
I can't figure out why those 2 pics are "invert".
Here's the engine I'm dropping. Not useing the valve covers.

Ok .... I'm not posting anymore pics till I figure this crap out. Sorry for the sloppy post pics

Lets hope you don't find out what that feels like once its running with the 440, my 68 fastback 440 car is a handful lol!! Nice ride!

Welcome to the best and greates site going
Full of great tech's ready to give out there experience and projects for us to enjoy and learn from :color: Nizze Drop top Big block, and here in Arkansas

I'm liking the motor, what's that intake?

Edelbrock Performer, I'm all about torque.....:burnout:
The engine is a Mystery one. Bought it from a guy that bought from a widow of the builder.
Don't know much and am taking a Big gamble with it. Was still rapped in plastic and had the brake in lube all over the valves . We'll see but at 2K I had to take a chance.
It came with new carb, intake, exhaust, ps pump, motor mounts, knock down linkage, ect...Plus a 727 trans that I had to rebuild,

Nice ride! It'll be sweet with the top down and BB rumblin'. What K frame you got?

I'm thinking a big block one.
Maybe someone can confirm it for me.
Was told it was when I was buying it , but just took a leap of faith.

I think that is an early 67-69 k frame. Don't know what mounts you will need? 69 down big block a bodies used a special engine block I thought. You might want to post a regular question not in welcome wagon forum.
