I have 4 Barracuda trunklids, not sure if there is a difference between the 1964 and 1965 models. All 4 have NO rust or damage, though each will need minor work to be perfect for paint. $75 each. Sorry, pictures not currently available. Maybe tomorrow if I get time. Maybe PM me for my email or cell number for text pictures.

The big difference would be with the prop rod style! The 64-5, and some early 66's had the ratcheting slide bar prop rod that would've been mounted on the passenger side, and there would be a bracket welded to the passenger side! The later 66's had the slider spring tube which had a hole drilled into a flattened land on the drivers side, with 2 smaller screw holes for a retainer bracket! Hope this helps, Geof

It does help. I'm doing body and paint on a 65 with a rough trunklid. I went to grab a spare and found it did not have that angled bracket for the trunklid support!

Cos, My 65 S had a spring loaded prop from day one was it supposed to have a ratchet?
