Whats it worth? Sorry

buy it drop in a 440 with open headers go to walmart parkin lot have some fun then on the way home it will scare the truckers off the road lol

seems like high retail for pretty much all the four door furys in that format is 3-4 k( in good shape) not sure you could spend less than that ( in time and money) to make a good flip. now if you sit on it long enough im sure eventually somebody will buy it as is for more than you paid

Yes we pass by it all the time on the way to the drags... He said he would take $600

My dad doesn't know as he isn't familiar with c bodies ,, all the stuff you see on craigslist is mine, I saw the rear end .. Me to....

I figured it was your stuff. if you still have those door handles int he near future i will prob snag them from you. I kick myself in the backside for not taking the rear end out of that d100 before getting rid of it.

On both I suppose, he wants $600, if it's not full of bondo, I'm thinking I could fix it up this winter and try to ask $2,000 or so

at $600 i'd offer $400-$500 then drive it beat the hell out of it for the winter. but don't have any expectations of getting $2000 for it when you are done.

you might be able to turn it into a cop/sheriff car to help sell it. but im with the others gonna be hard to move it after bought

You could build a 4 door clone of this car

I would pay $2,000 to $2,500 max. If those leaves in the cowl have worked their way down into the fresh air box you're going to have some corrosion to get rid of in a very, very difficult place. It's almost impossible to get into the fresh air box without cutting a good sized hole somewhere. That said, if you can get it real cheap (less than $1500) and the body is in good shape and it runs OK you come out alright!!

I would like to revise my estimate now that I know that you plan to flip it...makes a big difference!! $500-$600 if it runs and drives good if the body isn't all jacked up.
The cheaper the better when you flip something because you NEVER know what you're going to run into.

Cannot use them in Demo's any more..LOL Bigger than what everybody else has

And I would not pay more than $500 for it

Ok well I don't understand why that would change as a fixed up price

Because if you drive it home and a couple of weeks later the tranny goes out you're going to wish you had bought it as cheap as possible. If you're buying if for yourself and the tranny goes out then you're spending your money on a car you're going to drive, that's money worth spending!!!
Speaking from experience....

Okay, well.... That's what's luck for .....

We are going to look it over good and see what happens

if it were me I would leave it right where it sits.

I had a 70 sport fury just like that except the one I had was a 2 door and I could hardly give it away.

I agree with above post that its probably a 500 dollar car. Unless you are planning to keep it to love and hold and cherish........its not worth it.

The C-body crowd is a strange bunch and its really hard to sell C-bodies. Most likely what you give for it is what you can expect to sell it for unless you restore it which would against better judgment. I found out first hand how expensive and non-existent restoration parts are for this type of car.

Everyone always says C-bodies rock and all that BS but when it comes to putting the $$ with the talk....few ever will. At least that was my experience of owning a 70 fury.

Rani says it all.
I bought my C-body convertible thinking that I would restore it and enjoy the numbers matching 383 HP drivetrain. Junk parts are rare besides the non-existent restoration ones. The cost of new interior, top, and paint would make it look nice but I could never recover half the cost of what I would put into it. A buddy of mine said that I should take it down to Mexico and have all of that stuff done for less than $1,000. I just drive it the way it looks. It's fun to drive.

SCRAP STEEL GOES FOR ABOUT .08 A POUND ROUND HERE SO.......

4500X.08= $360 MINUS THE GAS TO GO GET IT AND DRAG IT TO THE SCRAP YARD. EST. $80.

So i would pay between $100 - $150. see if its got a sure grip and if it does yank it and make the rest into new toasters.

whats a blues brothers costume go for? make one hell of a Halloween costume next year. but then you would have to stand next to the car the entire time and watch the party from the parking lot or nobody would get it.

orrrrrrrr

this would make one hell of a demo derby car.

one would say the hood, fenders, bumpers and grill are worth around 1,000 bucks if they were off the car and sold separately.

chop it and make a cool lookin cruiser

shave door handles paint it panther pink or hemi orange with satin black hood and stripes

that would sell on ebay all day long
