Hi,

I need a medium sized truck shipped from BC top NS..

Does anyone know a good company that can do this ?

Footprint is the same as a 3500 dually but taller.

Thanks
Ian.

I have used Livingston International too many times the last 4 years LOL ! Barb in the Vancouver office gave me a better price last summer than the gal in Toronto could have given if I was an everyday dealer shipping new cars , call her first mention you know a guy that has shipped his old Barracuda 3 times in the last 4 years through her and he recommended her , remember depot to depot is the cheapest , the pickup and delivery trucking can almost double the price .

PS just give them the make and model , don't say anything about size let them figure it all out , they will stand behind their quote once it's given .

Hi,

the truck is in Mission BC but he lives in Sechelt, BC. He said shipping would be easier out of Vancover.

Do we have any members that live ion Mission ? Or Sechelt ? Apparently, he races cars so I am thinking circuit vs drag ?

Ian

I'll see If I still have her phone number in my old cell , Mission Raceway Park MRP is one of the top NHRA rated tracks , in fact it was the NHRA division 6 track of the year 5 years in a row in the nineties and then again 3 years running 2005-2007 so you might be assuming a little too much there eh!

Ian, funny i read this today at work. I just looked after a fellow who just quit doing this. He would fly out to get vehicle or drive depending where it was (lives in Ontario)Drive it back to purchaser and get paid. He has the viehcle and said he never worried about payment because he had the info pkg. ownership etc.....Mainly the veihicle its self..... Just a option...

is he fully retired ?

Actually, I could meet him in Ontario.

Could you pm me his e-mail addy ?

Thanks

:wack: HOLEYYYYYYY FRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No wonder we have pulled up all the tracks here...and look at the time for paperwork and shipping..then all the caveats..

yeah they're renting you a whole flatbed railcar , at that price , too bad it's to big for a car hauler . There used to be an outfit called Cross Canada Driveaway or something like that LOL they found drivers to move cars and trucks but I don't know about big rigs . I drove a service van from Toronto to Vancouver in 86 for them .

I am contacting CP rail...I shouldn't be using a full car..

You gave me ideas re drivers..thanks..

I am thinking about going myself...

Do you know anyone in Mission or Sechelt, BC ..kind of interested to see if the truck is really what it is if I have to wire the money across Canada..

Thanks
Ian.
