To Six Pack or Not to Six Pack

-
years ( decades) back I had more than a few AAR,TA, 440- E bodies, and a couple of M code bees. they were all OEM, none mechanical. in good condition, they worked great. used carbs that have been " altered" can be problem like any carb.
I love the multi carb WOW factor. can be pricey no doubt but what isn't. I loved them. have one 440-6 set up that won a bunch at the track with PO buddy. yea, it could run with the big 4 bbl. sox and martin ran a 440-6 runner in 69????? but ya got to want them, and enjoy having more carbs to play with!???
its fun hunting what ya need/want and finding good deals!!

I am in the process of starting a build as well. I am planning to stroke a 400. I already have a set of six pack carbs and linkage. I am doing it just because I always wanted one. I have not set myself on a stroker size yet.

I found a 6 pak gets alot more attention at a cruise/show than a single 4 bbl car so if the bling and compliments fuel you...press on.....I had a 72 challenger with a 440/4 speed single 4...got alot of attention but didn't do well at shows...same car with 6 pack and I quit shows because of all the awards I won...same car....plus....I liked cruising down the road at 60 and just stepping down a bit and feel the other two carbs kick in....lotsa fun
