Awesome car!!! Nice pass too, that's hauling ***! Got any more pics?

Nice car bobtile! Those numbers look very consistent from top to bottom for me. Do you street drive this car at all? And, I do read many of your posts over on "B" when I'm lurking...which is pretty much daily. :D

Thanks. I have plenty of pictures and videos. I'll get some up shortly

The car was built as a street car. I have been driving it on the street for the last five years. I live about 20 miles from Island Dragway and drive it there all the time. I started getting more serious racing it this year. I joined a group (NENDRA) which races about 15 times a year. Lots of fun. I started out last year with my first pass of 14.2. The only changes made to the car were lighter wheels, MT street radials torque converter and tuning. At the begining of this year, I was at 12.7. With the changes I made, got to 11.7 and just tuning it got me to 11.36. It still has stock springs in back and stock interior. I think I may be going all in for the racing this winter. Im planning on lightening the car, Solid roller cam and caltracs or ladder bar suspension.
Thanks Bob

Here are a couple pics.

The '68 GTX is one of my favorite cars of all time! My brother had one. I love the taillights on the '68. Never apologize that it's not an a-body. I love A-body's, but I'd rather cruise a '68 GTX. They are just too much $$$$$$. Nice run, too... :)

My wife bought me the car for my 40th birthday. It was only $2000. I was able to get it cheap enough, but it took me about 6 years to get it on the road. I did 90% of the work myself in my driveway. Living in NJ, that's only 7 months of work out of the year. The car needed everything from frame rails on up.
