Question about Brake Hub and Rotor

Could the hub be turned down enough to fit
the wheels.
Starting to looks like I might have as much in machine
work as I would in buying new wheels.

This thing is an exercise in pain and really trying
my patience.

I would doubt it. The outer bearings are the same, Timken set #2, but you would have to machine the outer hub and centering feature. Then drill and install 7/16 in studs, assuming they would fit in the flat stud pocket inside the rotor. Doesn't sound too cost effective to me. If you keep your eyes and ears open, maybe you could score a Kelsey-Hayes setup and be done. I just found a complete set for $100 on Craigslist.
