Caution - Tale of a long distance slacker

Sorry to say, but the OP here ignored some major roadblocks in this deal! Never post a wanted ad, that seems to be the first way a scammer with low/zero posts can link on to you....never send money by Instagram, especially to a low/zero poster....never deal with anyone on the web that doesn't have a reputation amongst the peers of the site you are dealing with...and always send any money by a secured method!! Even then there is a chance you'll get scammed...think Ply30!!!

Sorry the OP got scammed, but the parts are not worth the risk!! Geof

Never Post A Wanted Ad ?

While true that never posting a wanted ad will limit your exposure it will also limit your potential ability to obtain the parts you covet. Most of my Purchases and Sales have been a result of responses to a member's needs.

While "Ply30" is an exception to a long time member gone bad I would certainly think that dealing with tenured member's in general has less risk. Not to say that somebody that joined five minutes ago is necessarily going to rip you off it's just that there is less of a track record.
