Who are our Ram owners here?

How did you manage to put a long bed on a mega-cab? Must take a lot of room to turn that bad boy around.

Consume beer.
Stretch the frame 20.5"
I cut the frame above the rear axle.
Unbolted the front bolt of the rear leaf springs.
Roll the whole assembly back.
Consume more beer.
Weld in 6X2X.25" rectangular steel tubing. (Factory frame rails are 10 gauge 1/8)
Relocate factory front spring hangers, setting ride height and pinion angle.
The factory drive shaft is a two piece unit.
Simply move the carrier bearing back 20.5" (to keep the rear shaft angles correct) and have a new front section made.
The flexible rubber brake hose can be replaced with one designed for a lifted truck.
Beer, SawZall and a Mig Welder..... You can do anything......
