Barracuda 'vert pics!

one I did buy, guess I didn't take any of the top of it

guy I knew told me about his bosses cuda convertible so had to go look at it

the car looked great, had good tires on rally wheels, restored interior and decent paint

V8, auto on floor PS but it had issues

The guy wanted $4,000 for it and when I seen it thought not a bad car for the money, UNTIL I looked a little closer. They put the rear 1/4s on top of the old ones and then did even worse job fixing the frame rails

I did buy it knowing all the problems. Put it on my lift and when I got ready to turn into the drive at the barn had no brakes, so when I took it back to him put it on my trailer, he was surprised when I got back to his house hauling the car.

here is the bottom of it

Thought dad could drive it to the cruise in and putter around in it in the summer. Paid $2,000 for it and had to put new master cylinder on it and new battery. But after fixing the brakes and followed dad home and seen it going down the road sideways it had to go.

Drove it to the cruise in that night at Sams Club. Had Dad go to Walmart and get a for sale sign and I went into Sams and bought the battery. Put $3,500 on it and within an 1 1/2 sold it for $3,200

It probably was worth more than that just in parts

If anyone bought a red 67 barracuda with black top and interior and really bad frame that was mine. for a few weeks.

date stamp shows I had it in 2002

was told this sat in a junk yard for awhile and then they hung the 1/4s and painted it. Do not understand why they spent the money doing the interior as nice as it was and then didn't fix the frame rails any better
