New Guy Old School Attitude

thanx for the welcome guys :). I've got a ton of pics from this car if you want to see them. I've owned this one since 2001. Thought I knew it's history when I got it, but through some digging, I found out it didn't have the background it was claimed to have had. So, I've been searching since about 2004. I started a thread on classracer.com in 2009 I believe to try & find out what it's roots are. I lose owners from 1968 to the early 80's when Lou Vignona purchased it. Check it out sometime when you have some "spare time":D http://www.classracer.com/classforum/showthread.php?t=13002 There's been over 750,000 views & 3,400 plus posts. Lot's of great pics & info on both LO23 & BO29 cars.

This is how my car was purchased in the early 80's

Welcome Daryl

What a beautiful Hemi Dart....(I have seen it up close and personal).....if only you had a nice cigar to go with it.

Are you coming to the Nats in 2015?.....tent space for this baby is available. (I'll park my coffee getter outside)

Mopar to ya'
Denny

Denny bestowed on Daryl, with a tap of the big sword on first the left shoulder and
then on the right while kneeling, the custody of his cherished Dick Landy cigar.

Daryl promised never to smoke it but only to caress it gently from time to time and
maybe take it for a ride in his Dart on important holidays......like Arbor day.

It occupys a place of honor in Daryl's humidor and it belongs to Daryl now unless some
misfortune should befall him (like unpaid gambling debts?) whereupon ownership
reverts back to Denny.

Scratch off one thing they aren't going to find on Oak Island.

Good day Sir,
That is a ridiculously Bad A.
It so awesome to see those gigantic motors in that little compartment.
Seems like a well collected package.
Especially admire the wheel set with the O.S. Keystones...
Would love to roll the 1/4 on those sweet rubbers...

Be sure to do so please...

Thank you, C.

There is a list on there of original hemisphere dart owners. One was chuck mcjury from schenectady ny. I work in schenectady. A google search looks like he died. Wonder where that car went

For anybody in the Midwest that would like to gaze upon Daryl's Dart in person,
He is going to make the trek to the Mopar Nat's this year so stop by the tent.
