4bbl intake for 318

Bend the part of the bracket with the stud in it so that it is Vertical rather than horizontal. This raises the cable and moves it to the outside of the engine since the 4v is wider. The big trick is that the 2v sits farther back than the 4v, so your kick down linkage is too short. Edelbrock makes a simple adapter that goes between the two adjustable parts of your 2v linkage at the carb and it only costs a few bucks new.
